You might think there couldn't possibly be a third busy week of library conferences. Well, March 2021 may be one for the record books. This week sees the continuation of the CNI Spring 2021 Virtual Membership Meeting, with the Plenary Sessions beginning March 24. The latest edition of the longtime Information Today annual event, Computers in Libraries Connect 2021, began this week, along with the brand new BLOSSOM event: Building Life-Long Opportunities for Strength, Self-Care, Outlook, Morale and Mindfulness.
Last week's blog post initially accidentally left out the RLUK21 Conference, but certainly no conference keynote had better timing, as mentioned at the event, than RLUK having MacKenzie Smith, University Librarian and Vice Provost of Digital Scholarship, University of California, Davis, presenting, Moving to Open: the University of California's strategy and experience with transforming journal publishing, in light of the new deal announced by the University of California with publisher Elsevier. To get you up to speed, see our resources on Transformative Agreements.
Also available are several RLUK21 sessions and other RLUK webinars.
You can view the final meeting of the 2020-2021 ARL Library Assessment Conference: Teaching & Learning and Value.
